Privacy Policy

Digital Economics LLC. ("we", "us") provides ERP implementation, Odoo customization, integration, training, support and software development services from Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website https://de.com.eg, our services and our social media activity, why we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number and message when you contact us, book a consultation or demo, request an estimate, open a support ticket, register for an event, or buy from our app store.
  • Customer and project information that our clients share with us to deliver our services, handled under our agreements with those clients.
  • Website usage data collected through cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • LinkedIn data: when we manage our company page through LinkedIn's API, we access our own page's posts, the comments and reactions on them, and aggregated page and follower statistics. We see the text of comments and the identifier of the member who wrote them, as LinkedIn provides.

2. How we use it

  • To answer your requests, provide and support our services, invoice, and meet legal obligations.
  • To send you information you asked for and, where permitted, news about our services (you can opt out at any time).
  • To publish our own posts, respond to comments on our page, and measure how our content performs.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and improve them.

3. Sharing

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, email and payment providers) under confidentiality obligations, with authorities when the law requires it, or with your consent.

4. Retention

We keep contact and customer records as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and accounting requirements. For LinkedIn data, we keep the text of member comments for no more than 48 hours, we don't store commenters' profile information, and we keep our page's posts and related data for up to 6 months and aggregated page statistics for up to 12 months, as LinkedIn's terms require.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls on our systems.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing info@de.com.eg. We will reply within 30 days. You may also have rights under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and other laws that apply to you.
